Why Firmware Updates Matter

Keeping firmware current is one of the easiest ways to prevent random glitches—especially if you frequently connect game consoles, soundbars, or use streaming apps.

1.1 Power: Keep It Stable

A firmware update should never be interrupted.

If plugged into the wall: use a stable outlet and avoid loose power adapters.
If using a power bank: use USB-C Power Delivery (PD) with 50W or higher output (single port) to prevent shutdowns during the update.
Do not unplug the projector, remove a power bank, or switch power sources mid-update.

1.2 Network: Use a Reliable Wi-Fi Connection
