Freestyle Projector Overview

The Freestyle projector is a compact smart projector designed for flexible viewing in different spaces. It features touch controls, wireless mobile connectivity, built-in audio, and multiple input and power options. Below is an overview of the main external parts and important usage notes.

  1. Touch Keys
The touch key panel allows quick access to essential projector functions:
    • Power – Turns the projector on or off.
    • Volume – Adjusts the audio output level.
    • Mobile – Lets you directly connect the projector to the SmartThings app on your mobile device for easier control and setup.
  2. Distance Sensor
The distance sensor helps the projector detect placement conditions and supports focus and screen adjustment features.
  3. Lens
The lens projects the image onto the viewing surface. Keep it clean and covered when not in use to maintain image quality.
  4. Remote Control Sensor / LED Indicator
This area receives signals from the remote control and includes the LED status indicator, which shows operating conditions such as power and standby status.
  5. Ventilation
The ventilation openings allow heat to escape during operation. Proper airflow is necessary to prevent overheating and ensure stable performance.
  6. MIC On/Off Switch
This switch lets you enable or disable the microphone depending on whether you want to use voice-related features.
  7. Micro HDMI Port
Used to connect compatible external devices for video input.
  8. USB Port (For Power)
This port is used to supply power to the projector.
  9. Cradle
The cradle supports the projector body and helps position it at the desired viewing angle.
  10. Speaker
The built-in speaker provides audio output directly from the projector without requiring external speakers.

Important Usage Notes

  • To power the projector using an external battery, make sure the battery supports PD (Power Delivery) and that a single output port can provide 50 W or more.
  • The pogo pin located on the bottom of the projector is only intended for specific socket adapter features. In some countries, those accessories may not be available or supported. Do not try to connect the pogo pin to unsupported accessories.
  • The product’s color and shape may vary depending on the model.
  • Do not block the projector’s intake or exhaust vents, as restricted airflow may affect performance and cooling.
  • When using the projector in an enclosed area, leave at least 50 cm of clearance around the intake and exhaust vents to allow proper ventilation.
  • When the projector is not in use, place the Lens Cap over the lens to protect both the lens and the distance sensor.
  • If dust accumulates on the distance sensor, features such as Focus or Keystone may not work correctly.
Setting the MIC On/Off

You can turn the microphone on or off by using the MIC switch located on the side of the projector. This gives you direct control over microphone-related functions.

  • During analysis using data from the microphone, the collected data is not saved.
